So every year for my husband's birthday, we go to James Coney Island. I don't know why, it's a tradition that started with his childhood I suppose. Well 2 years ago this was a cake I made. As you can see the left is a large hot dog, fashioned out of pound cake and twinkies, covered in fondant. This is sitting upon a 10" round white cake. I made the James Coney Island man out of fondant. I think I used all my red food coloring to make him red. Unfortunately I did a rush job on the coney man so he doesn't look too good, but all in all the staff and James Coney thought it was the best thing they'd every experienced. I hope you enjoy!
